The guest on show #14 is Ken Larson from the Kayak Anglers Society of America. Ken’s group is a non profit organization that runs a number of programs to get people on the water. One program, the Collegiate Kayak Fishing Series, promotes the development of intercollegiate kayak sport fishing clubs across the country. Heroes on the Water is an attempt to bring the rehabilitative aspects of kayak angling to our American veterans who have suffered injury while serving our nation. Finally, Operation DesKaf is working to wards providing all the equip (kayks, paddles, rods, reels, etc) so that the troops in Iraq can have another option to spend their time off.
Tight Lines,
Alex

1I can not tell you how proud I am to personally know Kendal Larson, and to be so thrilled that there are people out there who are willing to help all sorts of people out in our world. To teach young people and veterans new skills. I do believe that giving back to society is not being done enough, and am so glad to hear of these programs.
Great Job!!!
